Comparisons are inevitable. And to be a son of a famous sports star is never easy and sometimes even can be a heavy burden to carry. Probably, batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar realises that well enough when he said that he won’t exert any kind of pressure on his son Arjun to become a cricketer.
He did admit that India’s 2011 World Cup win has got his son excited but refused to say whether his son would take up the game seriously.
“I was inspired by Indian team's victory in 1983 World Cup. The 2011 victory has made a huge impact on my son Arjun... but I will not pressure him to become a cricketer. He can choose what he wants to do,” he told mediapersons at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai – the venue where Indian cornered glory after a hiatus of 28 years.
