Stand-in India captain Virender Sehwag denied any rift between the Indian cricketers after their loss to Sri Lanka in the eighth ODI of the CB Series at Brisbane.
"But you have to ask Dhoni again. What he told us was to give chance to youngsters and come here and play the next World Cup. That was what he told us," said Sehwag.
"He chatted with everyone, with Gautam and me and Tendulkar, he wanted to give chance to youngsters so they can play all the matches and prepare themselves for the next World Cup. They would have an idea how the wicket behaves in Australia.
Dashing opener Sehwag also conceded that he needs to improve his batting performance at the top of the order to win matches for India.

Captain cool MS Dhoni produced another innings under pressure as India tied with Sri Lanka in Tuesday's one-day match in Adelaide.
The tied result emerged just a couple of days after the Indian skipper’s heroics halted Australia’s streak in the series in their previous ODI. However, Sri Lanka continues to remain winless in the tournament.

India captain MS Dhoni expressed dissatisfaction over the shot selection of his top-order batsmen, after their four-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the CB Series match at WACA in Perth.
"There were a few shots we shouldn't have played. It's good we have ended on the winning side. We could have lost also," said Dhoni, after his side suffered a mid-innings collapse.
"Once I got out, and when Virat was run out, the match could have gone either way. It looked as it would go Sri Lanka's way."
"They had Lasith Malinga, the last recognized pair we had was Jadeja and Ashwin. With the kind of slinging action he has, you misread one ball and you can get out," Dhoni explained the situation.
