We are going to witness some great cricket at the 2011 world cup and for me some of the key players who are going to make a difference to the teams are as follows.
Jacques Kallis - A very dangerous player who can do the damage with bat, ball and in the field. Highly respected by the opposition in all parts of the world and he is going to play the pivot role for South Africa in this world cup and hopefully lead the team to their first world cup final.
Shane Watson - A boon for Australia. He has matured as a cricketer and is at his all time best with the bat and very very dangerous customer with the ball as well. Watson’s performance against the English in the recently concluded one day series in Australia
The New Zealanders nicknamed the Kiwi’s or Black Caps have been a highly underrated side but their performances in the World Cup previous nine world cups are a testimony to their grit, determination and character. A small island with a population of less than what you could find in Mumbai, have had some very memorable achievements in their World Cup outings and one they can be proud of and make the better known sides look at them with some respect for the tenacity which they show on the field.
