A group of young friends have decided to pay homage to one of their close friends, who lost life earlier this year by arranging a cricket tournament in Tamil Nadu.
S Mahendra Kumar, a Chemical Engineer, lost his life in a road accident in Chitlapakkam in January. His friends describe him as a soft spoken person, extremely dedicated to work and family.
According to The Hindu, the T20 tourney will be held in in Quaid-e-Milleth College from June 26. There will be two groups and the tournament will be held on a league and knock-out basis.
All private clubs and coaching academies and other private teams will be allowed to participate in the tribute tournament.
