England cricketers are making the full use of their spare time by supporting various charities, after the end of their Test series against Sri Lanka 1-1.
Wicketkeeper Matthew Prior and England’s wicket-keeping coach Bruce French will go on a 100 mile South Downs on bicycles to raise money for Chestnut Tree House this week, which is a local charity, the Mirror reported.
Next week, head coach Andy Flower alongside team psychologist Mark Bawden will take part in the London Marathon in support of three charities, each with a special connection to him.
England’s legendary cricketer Sir Ian Botham will raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Research.
Botham has been doing this for over 25 years and has raised both money and awareness beyond all measure for the disease.
