A fake account on the social networking site Twitter on the name of England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, acting as his parody, has been removed from the site.
Accroding to the reports in media on Wednesday, Pietersen believed some of his team-mates were behind the account, which poked fun at the 32-year-old.
The BBC reported that England team denied having any involvement with the account.
Pietersen quit one-day internationals in May. On Monday he said he may retire from Tests and there are "points I'm trying to sort in the dressing room", the report added.
