Glamorgan is a county team laced with many talented batsmen from England and abroad. T20 specialist Shaun marsh and South African Martin van Jaarsveld are two of their prized possession.

However, the results for the Welsh Dragons team has not been bright this season with just one win thus for.

Four of their eight matches have been washed out due to rains. Glamorgan last qualified for the quarterfinals in 2008.

Captain James Allenby was quoted by Wales Online as saying, “The weather has been disruptive to our T20 campaign, but there is not a lot we can do about that other than just hope that it improves,” said Allenby.

“We’ve lost half of our games due to weather, so that’s four points we’ve lost and that’s the equivalent between us and the guys on top of the group.

“It’s been difficult to get a rhythm into our play, but we’ve got two games left to play and therefore two games we have to try and win.”
