It was nice to see the International Cricket Council chief executive Haroon Lorgat saying sorry for the violent scenes regarding distribution of World Cup tickets and police baton-charging to disperse the passionate cricket lovers.
Lorgat, probably realized in quick time that the world cricket governing body would cut a sorry figure in front of the fans and that the episode would become a public relations disaster.
In fact, the ICC which had blocked tickets for itself and Kolkata fans have agreed to release those tickets to the KSCA which would be sold online later tonite. That's great news for cricket buffs in Bangalore. Jai Ho ICC!!!1
