Sachin Tendulkar is likely to be named in the squad for the remainder of the series which means Tendulkar may play the last two one-dayers against the West Indies. Still in search of his elusive 100th international ton, the Little Master, who was rested for the first three games, is likely to play the last two games. According to sources, the 38-year-old is keen on playing the remaining two matches of the series scheduled on December 8 and 11 in Indore and Chennai, respectively.

After his 99th century, Tendulkar played in four ODIs in World Cup. He has not played an ODI since the World Cup final against Sri Lanka in Mumbai. He pulled out of the ODI series in the away tours of the West Indies and England.

Tendulkar will have the chance to accomplish the feat at home, before the Australia tour, if he plays against West Indies in the remainder of the One day series. Else he will look to achieve the feat in Australia where he has performed consistently throughout his career.
