From the movie 'Rangeela', the song Tanha Tanha became a superhit and helped actress Urmila Matondkar to rise at the top.

Rangeela was released in 1995, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and starring Aamir Khan, Jackie Shroff and Urmila Matondkar.

It was music director A. R. Rahman's debut Hindi film with an original score, as the previous ones were dubbed from his Tamil scores. The soundtrack features playback singer Asha Bhosle, Hariharan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Suresh Wadkar, Udit Narayan, Chitra, Swarnalatha, Shweta Shetty, and A. R. Rahman himself.

The film was a semi-hit of 1995.[1] It won two Filmfare Awards that year; Best Supporting Actor for Jackie Shroff and Best Music Director for A. R. Rahman, according to Wikipedia.
