Murali Vijay had a mediocre start by his standards to the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League.
His poor run in the tournament even forced Chennai super Kings skipper MS Dhoni to drop him for a few matches. But once he got back to the team, he scored runs freely and made an impact in almost all the matches from thereon.
His best knock of the tournament was undoubtedly the 113 he scored against Delhi Daredevils in the second qualifier.
By scoring that century, he became the first Indian batsman to score two centuries in IPL.
