Pakistan cricketer Majid Khan was the first person to score an ODI century for his country.

In 1974, at Trent Bridge he scored 109 from 93 balls with 16 fours and a six.

His father Jahangir Khan Irani played for India before the partition.

He had 73 first-class centuries, with 128 fifties. He is also one of the three players to have scored a century before lunch in a test match.

On August 18, 1923, Jahangir Khan Irani, Majid Khan's father was born and he has the honour of keeping wickets for India during the India 1947-48 Australian tour.
