Led by Kumar Sangakarra's resilient 97, Sri Lanka posted a competitive 243 for eight in their allotted 50 overs against Pakistan in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won toss and opted to bat first. Both teams came into the match with unchanged sides.
Sri Lanka lost wickets at regular intervals till the time skipper Mahela Jayawardane came to the crease. He, along with Sangakkara stiched a valuable 110 run partnership for the fourth wicket.
The series is currently tied with both teams having won one match each.
