Sourav Ganguly posted his highest score of 183 in one-Day internationals (ODI) against Sri Lanka at Taunton in the 1999 World Cup.

After losing Sadagopan Ramesh early, Ganguly stitched a 300-run plus partnership with Rahul Dravid to post one of the highest totals then in ODI cricket.

Their second wicket partnership was also the highest partnership for any wicket in ODI then.

The record was broken only a few months later by Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid against New Zealand at Hyderabad.
