India vs Australia, Only T20I, Australia tour of India 2013

Commentary

India won by 6 wkts | India Vs Australia Live Score, Only T20I

That's it from all of us here. Join us for the first ODI on Sunday. Until then take care bye bye...
Dhoni: 'Yuvi batted really well. We did not get off to a good start. We expected that by their bowlers to do well with the new ball. Yuvraj was good in pacing the innings. We have not batted together off late and it was good to be batting with him. When we bat we know what needs to be done. It was a stiff target and the bowlers bowled well in the last few overs. One or two good overs in the end is enough to restrict them and the batsmen did well by chasing it down.'
Yuvraj: 'I have shed a few kilos. Have worked really hard in the off season. Playing for India A helped me a lot. I am really confident and spoke to Mahi about how to go about in the end. There was no particular bowlers I targetted but I knew that Jadeja was still there so I took my chances. Good to start off with a win. '
Yuvraj is the Man of the Match
Bailey: 'You probably win when you score 200 on any other day. We lost too many wickets at the end and there was no support for Finchy. We would have taken 200 at the start but Yuvraj was brilliant for India. Full credit for India, they played some good cricket. It is the start off a good series, so looking forward to the ODIs'
What a story Yuvraj has written for himself. This was his comeback match and he is back with a bang. India were set a challenging target and they lost Rohit early. Raina and Dhawan gave them a good start in the powerplay until both were dismissed. Kohli threw his wicket away after getting a start. But it was the Yuvraj and Dhoni partnership of 102 that took India home. The former was the aggressor as he paced his innings superbly and scored his highest T20I score, he was well aided by his skipper who played second fiddle. Stay tuned for the presentation...
