Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh, 2nd T20I, Bangladesh tour of Zimbabwe 2013

Commentary

Bangladesh won by 34 runs | Zimbabwe Vs Bangladesh Live Score, 2nd T20I

That's it folks! This is all we have from the presentation area. The Zimbabwe-Bangladesh series comes to an end. Hope you enjoyed it. Goodbye and Cheers...
Shakib: 'I had scored some good runs and it gave me a lot of confidence. I was hitting the ball well but unfortunately I got out quickly. But that is okay as we won the game and leveled the series. The youngsters are performing well for us and I hope they will keep doing good in the coming matches as well.'
Shakib Al Hasan is the Man of the match as well as Man of the series
Rahim: 'It always feels good to win. It has been hard work but we managed to do well finally. The boys showed a lot of character and all credit goes to them. Hopefully we continue this wonderful game by us in the next couple of months as well.'
Taylor: 'Full credit to Bangladesh, they fought back hard which was what we expected from them. We were sloppy in the field and missed a few easy chances. We thought we had restricted them well to 168 but in the end we could not chase it. We have come a long way and we hope to continue in a positive fashion ahead.'
Fantastic win for Bangladesh! They batted well to reach a competitive score and then bowled brilliantly to confound the hosts. Zimbabwe kept losing wickets at regular intervals and never really looked in control of the game. Shakib bowled a remarkable spell, he picked up Taylor and Shingi and then cleaned up the tail as well. Spinners did the job for the visitors to reduce Zimbabwe to 9 wickets. In the end, a comprehensive win for Bangladesh as they square the T20 series 1-1.
