Commentary
A good start to the qualifiers. Another game coming up soon. Just hop tabs and join us there.
Gale: 'We kept them 20 runs under par. We were sloppy on the field but we got a good start in the chase. We bowled 7 wides, that is an extra over. Adil Rashid played well and Miller showed great character to come back. I just asked him and he was more than happy to go back to win the game. We've done half the job and hopefully we can come back to finish it off tomorrow. We'll save the celebrations for tomorrow.'
Kandamby: 'We were 10-15 runs short but it was a competitive total. We were bowling on the shorter side but we dropped a crucial catch and that's where we went wrong.'
Rashid: 'I think we played well as a team. 150 was a par score. The way we came out in the first 6 overs was exceptional. David Miller came back and finished things off beautifully. We can get used to the conditions pretty quickly.'
Adil Rashid is the MoM.
The quality of cricket may not have been the best but these two teams continued to throw punches back and forth until Miller came back to wrest control. The southpaw braved a blow on his face to come back and finish things. Yorkshire were in control when he first went off and Rashid played a crucial hand in ensuring they were always in the hunt. Uva did well to fight in the defense of 150 but one feels that they could have got some more on the board if they had batted with some purpose.

19.1Umar Gul to David Miller
1 run, very full, Miller brings his bat down in time to punch it to extra cover, quick single taken
3 needed off the last over. Can Gul produce some magic? Looks very unlikely.

FOUR, that should dispel any doubts about his injury. Full and outside off, Miller makes some room and slices it square on the offside for a much needed boundary
