Commentary

That ends the first match of today's double header. Join us in a short while for the second match of the day as Titans face Kolkata. For now, cheers and bye

Agarkar: 'It is good that Irfan, Morne and Umesh have been bowling so well. They put the pressure on the batsman, I need to just stick to the basics. I thought we nearly made a meal of the chase, there was pressure but I am happy with the way it ended.'

Ajit Agarkar is the MoM

Mahela: 'Very happy with the way we played. We made a few mistakes but happy to cross the line, I thought the bowling was great. We bat deep in the line-up, it was great that the guys fought hard. We need to make sure that we prepare well. It is good to have games like this.'

North: 'I thought 140 was a par score. I thought we played very well in the first 10 overs, we then lost our way after the dismissal of Shaun. Credit to Delhi for pulling us back.'

An entertaining match in the end. Perth fought hard after being restricted to a below par score, the dropped chance off Sehwag that cost Perth six invaluable runs perhaps sealed the deal in the end. Sehwag played a responsible knock making people wonder why he does not play in the same manner for India. Ajit Agarkar had a day to remember, first he starred with the ball, then took a good catch before sealing the victory in a nervy chase.
