Rohit Sharma: 'I think it wasn't a par score. But there was something in the wicket. We didn't get early wickets. But that's fine. We needed to get more than 150. We've got to move on now. We go to Ahmedabad. We will try and do well there. Pollard batted really well. It is the first game and I am sure we will get better as we play. I am happy with my batting. I was striking the ball well. They bowled exceedingly really well.'

Rahul Dravid:'It was very professional performance by the boys. It was a good effort to restrict them for 142. Their was calmness with the run chase as well. The bowlers did well, we would have settled for 142 after sending them in. It was a good partnership between Rahane and Sanju, and Watto and Binny did well to finish it off.'
Sanju Samson: I enjoyed it. I prepared well yesterday and I am happy that I batted well. The ball came on nicely and I enjoyed it. I feel lucky to be playing for this team and at a very crucial number 3 position.
It has been a well paced run chase by Rajasthan. They opted to bowl first after winning the toss. Their bowlers responded well by restricting Mumbai to 142. Then their batsmen came out and batted sensibly, Samson scored a well compiled 54 and he was wll supported by the rest. Mumbai bowlers tried hard but just could not get the wickets at regular intervals. They missed the bowling of Malinga at the top and the end of overs.
