Trinidad and Tobago won by 8 wkts | Chennai Super Kings Vs Trinidad and Tobago Live Score, Group B, T20 Match 20

That ends the double-header for today. Join us for the first semifinalon friday. Until then take care bye bye...
Ramdin: 'Winning the toss was important. Getting Hussey was important and Rampaul got the inform batsman. We got in the extra spinner looking at the slow pitch. All the games are big and now it gets even bigger. It was an almost perfect game but we still have to improve. The fielding was very good those two catches by Simmons was very good and important. Mumbai are a very good team and we are up for it.'
Lendl Simmons: 'It was important to give our innings a good start. We looked to get a feel of the pitch and then play some shots. I was unlucky to get out in the previous matches. We got to know that we can top the group as we finished bowling and went back. Lewis is batting well hopefully he can go from strength to strength from here on.'
Lendl Simmons is the Man of the Match
Dhoni: 'I think our batting was not all that great. The wicket slowed down a bit and batting became difficult as the innings progressed. 118 was not enough for our bowlers but I felt that they could have bowled a lot better. A score around 135-140 was a par score on this track. We were short by around 15-20 runs. We were looking to finish on a good note, that did not happen. The wicket at Jaipur will aid the seamers, and will be a much better batting track. We hope to do well out there.'
Lewis: 'We backed ourselves to win today. We knew that we could chase down this target. The pitch was a bit slow and two paced at times. This is a great moment for our nation, to qualify for the semis of this tournament is great.'
It has been an emphatic victory by T&T. They knew they had to win this and they have done it in style. First their bowlers did well to restrict a strong Chennai batting line up to under 120. Then their batsmen came out and played some sensible cricket to see them home. Simmons and Lewis batted exceedingly well as they knew when to go after the bowling and when to limit themselves. The bowlers did not have much to play with as only Raina and Ashwin restricted their batsmen to an extent. So now it is going to be Rajasthan vs Chennai and T&T vs Mumbai.
