Faisalabad vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Qualifying Pool 2, Champions League T20 2013

Commentary

Hyderabad won by 7 wkts | Faisalabad Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Live Score, Qualifying Pool 2

So that is the end of today's qualifiers. Join us back day after for another double-header. Take care and good bye!
Dhawan: 'Both me and Misbah are in good form and we are playing smartly. Steyn bowled beautifully. He bowled with good rhythm. Karan Sharma and Amit Mishra bowled very well.'
Misbah: 'It is good that I am scoring runs but it is not helping the team. This tournament gives good exposure to the team. They are learning to cope up with the pressure. It is time for the guys to stand up and play well in the last game.'
Shikhar Dhawan was unstoppable yet again. First as captain he called the right side of the coin and then his bowlers, led by Amit Mishra did a fantastic job to keep Faisalabad to a platry total. Then he later batted brilliantly and fired another fifty to propel his side to another easy win. This win for Hyderabad means that Faisalabad and Kandurata cannot make it to the main tournament.
It is now clear that Samantray has been ruled out LBW.
Amit Mishra is the Man of the Match
17.3 Asad Ali to Darren Sammy 4
FOUR, no problems in creaming this and he signs off the game in style. Full delivery outside off stump, Sammy drives it powerfully to the deep extra cover fence. Hyderabad and Otago are through to the main tournament
17.2 Asad Ali to Darren Sammy 4
FOUR, the inside edge this time. Sammy won't mind this. Good length delivery on the leg stump, Sammy slogs and gets the edge past the stumps and beats fine leg
17.1 Asad Ali to Darren Sammy 4
FOUR, short delivery outside off stump, Sammy goes for the pull and gets a top edge that flies over the keeper's head to the fine leg fence
There is a bit of confusion about Samantray's dismissal. The TV shows he was caught behind, but he was quite clearly out LBW and even the commentator on air feels the same. We will confirm the mode of dismissal at the end of the innings.
End of over 17, 4 runs (. 1 1 . 1 1 )
