Brendon McCullum and Guptill walk out with wide smiles. Deserving too. Guptill is struggling to walk across even now but rode on adrenalin while batting. His gem of a knock towards the end ensured that the good work done by his skipper to keep New Zealand in the hunt did not go in vain. Kane Williamson's 74 was another crucial knock and his run-out gave England some hope. They did keep chipping away at the wickets but the death blows were struck by the unbeaten duo.
