New Zealand vs England, 3rd T20I, England tour of New Zealand 2013

Commentary

England won by 10 wkts | New Zealand Vs England Live Score, 3rd T20I

So that's it. England clinch the 3 match T20I series 2-1. As with any T20I series involving New Zealand, this too has been enthralling. Hop over to the next tab where South Africa are trying to dismiss Pakistan in their first innings in the 2nd Test. Till then, goodbye and take care.
This has been a spectacular batting show from the England openers. Extremely entertaining, but not one that the New Zealand fans would appreciate. The hosts were a bit too aggressive and that showed in their bowling as the ball were sprayed in all directions. Ian Butler, who gave away just 9 runs in 4 overs in the last T20I, went for 41 runs in 2.4 overs. Hales has just added to his reputation as a fierce striker of the ball with this knock.
12.4 Ian Butler to Michael Lumb 6
SIX, back of a length delivery on middle, Lumb shuffles across and hits it over the deep backward sqaure leg boundary, outside the ground. Gets to his 2nd T20I fifty and finishes the match.
50 runs for Michael Lumb
12.3 Ian Butler to Alex Hales 1
1 run, good length delivery on middle, Hales goes back and turns it to midwicket for a single
12.2 Ian Butler to Alex Hales 4
FOUR, to fine leg
12.2 Ian Butler to Alex Hales 4
FOUR, fuller length delivery on the apads, Hales picks it up and plays it over the short fine leg fielder for a boundary.
12.1 Ian Butler to Alex Hales 4
FOUR, short of length delivery outside off, Hales pulls it from outside off to the deep midwicket fence. This is just too easy
Ian Butler [2.0-0-26-0] is back into the attack
11.6 Nathan McCullum to Alex Hales 1
1 run, tossed up on middle, driven down to long on for a single
11.5 Nathan McCullum to Michael Lumb 1
1 run, yorker length delivery outside off, Lumb squeezes it out to cover. The throw came in quick as Guptill slided to his left and sent in the throw. McCullum collected the ball and failed to take off the bails, on second attempt did so without the ball in his hands. Run out missed. Third umpire rules not out.
11.4 Nathan McCullum to Michael Lumb 6
SIX, majestic Rainaesque shot. Tossed up outside off, Lumb sits down and plays it inside out over the extra cover fence for a big six.
11.3 Nathan McCullum to Michael Lumb 2
2 runs, floated up outside off, Lumb dances down the track and plays it inside out towards deep extra cover, bisect the fielders for a couple
11.2 Nathan McCullum to Michael Lumb 2
2 runs, floated up on middle, Lumb sweeps it to the deep midwicket region, comes back for an easy two
11.1 Nathan McCullum to Michael Lumb 0
no run, low full toss on middle, played back to the bowler
10.6 Mitchell McClenaghan to Alex Hales 6
SIX, Mitchell McClenaghan has been taken to the cleaners. He came around the wicket and bowled it full outside off, Hales lofts it over mid off, goes all the way. He hadn't even timed it that well!
