West Indies won by 2 wkts | Pakistan Vs West Indies Live Score, 2nd Match, Group B

That is all from us here. Join us for the match tomorrow England and Australia from Edgbaston. This is a curtain-raiser before the main Ashes contest in July. See you!
Presentation Ceremony:
Roach: 'In England, the ball moves around a bit. I bowled in the right channels and I got the wickets. It is great to win the first match and the guys are relieved as Pakistan is a good team. We want to continue with the good performance against India. My main aim is to get early breakthroughs and I am proud of the fact that I achieved it for the team.'
Roach is the MoM for his match spell of 10-4-28-3
Dwayne Bravo: 'The guys played well in tough conditions. Roach set the tone by taking wickets. He was backed up well by Narine and Rampaul. This game was important for us and it is good to get the nerves out of the way. We wanted to give the bowlers good use of a fresh pitch. We knew that Pakistan's bowling is strong. Misbah used his bowlers well but credit to the whole team for supporting me and getting the team over the line. In the team meeting, Chris Gayle mentioned that this venue is like playing at home. I would like to thank the fans for supporting us, although the Pakistan fans outnumbered the West Indies fans.'
Misbah-ul-Haq: 'The plan was to just see off the new ball but we lost too many wickets. The West Indies bowlers bowled very well. When I and Jamshed were batting, we were aiming for a score somehwere between 240-250. When mistakes are made, the whole team has to suffer. It does not matter that I did not get to the century. I am happy that the bowlers bowled with a lot of heart. We need to rectify the small mistakes for the coming games.'
This has been a low-scoring thriller to say the least. On a pitch that was getting difficult to bat on, the West Indies openers got off to a sluggish start. Mohammad Irfan was the chief destroyer as he snapped up Charles and Darren Bravo cheaply. Gayle looked to up the scoring rate but Ajmal cleaned him up. Pollard hung in there but he could not accelerate the scoring. The Pakistani bowlers chipped in with wickets but some crucial blows from Ramdin, Narine and Roach helped West Indies sneak over the line by two wickets.
