Delhi Daredevils vs Kings XI Punjab, 32nd T20 Match IPL 2013

Punjab won by 5 wkts | Delhi Daredevils Vs Kings XI Punjab Live Score, 32nd Match

That is all from us here. It has been a pretty sober end to the day after a manic start. 23rd April though, will belong to one man and that is Chris Gayle. His record breaking feat will be the talking point for many days to come. Join us tomorrow for the match between Kolkata and Mumbai from Kolkata. Until then, Bye Bye!
Presentation Ceremony:
Harmeet Singh: 'There was a little bit of pressure on me as I was bowling to Sehwag on his home ground. I was planning to bowl stump-to-stump. I was looking for both swing and accuracy. We needed this win and two consecutive wins is a big boost for us.'
Harmeet Singh is the MoM for his haul of 3/24.
Gilchrist: 'The guys bowled well and we batted well in patches. We tried boosting our run-rate but we lost quick wickets in the process. The wicket looked like it had more moisture yesterday but it dried up today. David Hussey did a good job in containing Warner. We have great energy in the group. Mike Young, the fielding coach, is doing a great job and everyone is hanging on to those tough chances. I am not sure about the away advantage in this league but we have struggled to consistently win away. Two wins on the trot is good. Harmeet Singh has had a good first game and he used the seam-up delivery very well.'
Mahela Jayawardene: 'We have to be honest to ourselves. After the last game, we knew that 150 plus was a par score. We have not been consistent. We have a good combination in both bowling and batting. We are getting starts but we are not patient and we have to get back to the drawing board. We have to believe in ourselves and we look to do well in the remaining eight games. We have not played in Raipur and so we have no idea about the pitch.'
Punjab will be absolutely delighted with this effort. Gilchrist once again failed with the bat but Mandeep Singh played a good cameo. Roelof van der Merwe bowled well and kept the pressure up but he found no support from the others. Once again, David Miller had a calming influence and guided Punjab to their second consecutive win. For Delhi, they are all set to languish at the bottom of the table for some time now.

1 run, inside edged but safe, short in length delivery just outside off, Chawla swivels and goes for the pull but gets an inside edge that goes past the stumps and to the on side, back to back wins for Punjab and this is their biggest victory in terms of ball to spare against Delhi
16.5 Umesh Yadav to Piyush Chawla 4

16.3 Umesh Yadav to David Miller 1
