Commentary

Rajasthan won by 8 wkts | Rajasthan Royals Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Live Score, 36th Match

That is all we have from here. Hop over to the next tab for the match between Mumbai and Bangalore from the Wankhede.
Faulkner: 'I have had a good run so far and I am glad I contributed to the team's win. I had reasonable control tonight but I am lucky I got the second wicket off a loose ball. The wicket had a bit earlier on but Watson batted like a dream. The top order is batting well so I am glad I am not needed with the bat.'
James Faulkner is the MoM for his 5/20.
Dravid: 'In the end, we got the job done. It was disappointing to allow Hyderabad reach 144. Shane Watson's batting makes any target look easily. He and Faulkner were excellent. We need to work on our death bowling.'
Sangakkara: 'We did not have a great start. Sammy, Mishra and Steyn batted well. 140 was a sporting total but Shane Watson's knock was the difference. Every game is important and we have to defeat some good sides to go ahead. The leg-spinners were the best bowlers right throughout the tournament but Watson's batting foiled our plans.'
Watson: 'A few things went my way and this is an important win for us. To have let Hyderabad reach 144 was disappointing but we had the batting depth to chase this down. There was a lot more seam movement with the new ball and Steyn was bowling well. We had to target the other bowlers. The fan support has been excellent. My bowling effort is still rusty and I am looking to get back into the groove.'
Top performance from Rajasthan. The new ball held the key for Hyderabad and they started off well. Steyn, in particular, was lethal with the new ball and he sent back Rahane cheaply. However, Dravid and Watson saw the team through choppy waters and shared a 74 run stand for the second wicket. With Dravid's departure, Watson opened up and smashed the Hyderabad bowlers to all parts of the ground. He was uncluky to miss out on back to back centuries but Rajasthan have emerged victorious by eight wickets.
