Commentary

Mumbai won by 7 wkts | Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Mumbai Indians Live Score, 36th T20 Match

That ends the single-header for today. Action continues with a double-header tomorrow, it is Chennai taking on Rajasthan and Bangalore up against Delhi. Do join us for those games. Until then, take care and Cya!
Rayudu: 'My head was in UAE, legs were in Hyderabad and my bat was somewhere else, so I had to bring them all together. My technique was going haywire, so I worked hard in the nets to bring it back in order. The coaches have helped me a lot. Simmons batted very well and he took the pressure off me. We took the bowlers on when we were well set. It is a good win and we have to keep the momentum going forward.'
Rayudu is the Man of the Match for his superb knock of 68 off 46 balls
Rohit: 'It was a perfect game and a clinical performance. This is the capability we have in our team. From the time we went out to the field, we did well. It is not easy to bowl at Warner and Finch when they are set, so credit to the bowlers. We always talk about getting big partnerships and how crucial it is to win a game. Simmons gave us a good start and Rayudu gave him good support. As I told at the toss, we will take one game at a time and have to do all the right things from our end.'
Dhawan: 'We are not used to losing too many matches over here. This is a new track and it's more of a batting track now. We were 20 odd runs short with the bat. They batted beautifully and got the measure of our bowlers. If we win the next few games we will back in the top four.'
A professional performance from Mumbai who never looked in trouble during the run chase. They lost Gautam early but Simmons and Rayudu steadied things. The pair stitched together a 130-run stand for the second wicket, which is the highest partnership for Mumbai in this season. Both batsmen got to their respective fifties and got out when they were close to the finish line. Hyderabad did not have a memorable day on the field, there were some sloppy moments as they missed a couple of chances. Bhuvneshwar was once again the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 2 wickets but he did not have any support from the rest of his mates. With this win, Mumbai keep their hopes alive in the tournament and Hyderabad still remain fifth on the table even after the defeat. Stay tuned for the presentation....
