Zimbabwe vs India, 2nd ODI, India tour of Zimbabwe 2013

India won by 58 runs | Zimbabwe Vs India Live Score, 2nd ODI

That's about everything that we have for you from here. Hop tabs to follow the game between Sri Lanka and South Africa. Cheers and goodbye.
Dhawan: 'It was one of my lucky days. You have some lucky days. I was playing well earlier but getting out. The wicket was not easy to bat on. But Dinesh and I batted well. That partnership got us through. I'm enjoying the moment. I'm in good form. We just wanted to play on the merit of the ball. We just wanted to stay. We knew we could recover later because both of us had a good range of shots.'
Shikhar Dhawan is the Man of the Match for his 116.
Virat Kohli: 'It was going to be a challenge for the batsmen. We lost a few early wickets, there were a few tricky calls as well. There are two sides of getting luck. Dhawan kept going despite nicking a few. Dinesh as well. Pity he did not get a 100. We ended up getting 295. Those two batted beautifully. The wicket suited Unadkat. He bowls a good length and has good change of pace as well. The others supported him well. We are a new side. We are going to be put under pressure. The guys responded beautifully today.'
Brendan Taylor: 'We gave them too many chances and they made us pay. That partnership (between Dhawan and DK) really killed us. It was a good wicket to bat on. The top order has to take responsibility for this failure. We were really slow on the field. There were penalties in place. In hindsight, we should have just slowed the game down a bit. Our seam attack is pretty strong. We have to tighten up in the middle overs.'
Yet another comprehensive performance from India. Shikhar Dhawan set the tone with a fine albeit chancy century. In the reply, Zimbabwe got off to a solid start. Vusi Sibanda and Hamilton Masakadza started confidently but once these two fell the innings just fell apart. Zimbabwe were then just trying to play out the 50 overs. They managed to do that. For India, Unadkat had a very good day. He picked up 4 wickets and ran out Taylor as well. Stay tuned for the presentation.
End of over 50, 3 runs (1 1 1 W W . )
ZIM: 236/10
Tendai Chatara - 0(1) This over: 0 runs
Prosper Utseya - 52(62) This over: 3 runs
Jaidev Unadkat
(10.0 - 3 - 41 - 4)
49.6 Jaidev Unadkat to Tendai Chatara 0
no run, Chatara survives with a solid defense. Unadkat did keep it full from round the wicket but it was not good enough. India cruise home and win by 58 runs to take a 2-0 lead.
Tendai Chatara, right handed bat, comes to the crease
The Indians are bringing the field in. Two slips, a gully, a short leg in place.
49.5 Jaidev Unadkat to Brian Vitori W
out Bowled!! Pacy and straight. That's enough to do the trick. Vitori swung across the line and missed completely. The leg stump is sent flying out now. Unadkat in search of a five-fer here. What's more? He's on a hat-trick as well. Farcical drama late in the innings. B Vitori b Unadkat 0(1)
10 wickets down for ZIM. Out batsman is Brian Vitori. It is all over for ZIM.
Brian Vitori, left handed bat, comes to the crease
49.4 Jaidev Unadkat to Kyle Jarvis W
out Bowled!! Speared into the blockhole from round the wicket, Jarvis was trying to squeeze it on the offside but misses. The off stump is uprooted and Unadkat gets wicket No 3. Jarvis b Unadkat 2(4)
3 wickets for Jaidev Unadkat. Jaidev Unadkat is on a roll.
49.3 Jaidev Unadkat to Prosper Utseya 1
1 run, Utseya punched this flat and hard to mid off for a quick single. Vinay Kumar fires in a flat throw at the non-striker's end. Utseya had to change his direction just a bit as Unadkat got in his way. He still lunges out and makes his ground
There's been a direct hit and looks like Utseya is run out. Or maybe just in. Utseya will be safe here.
49.2 Jaidev Unadkat to Kyle Jarvis 1
1 run, very slow and on the off, Jarvis is done in by the change of pace. He gets a thick outside edge down to third man
