Commentary

Match drawn | Bangladesh Vs New Zealand Live Score, 1st Test

That's all we have for you from here, do join us for the second Test which is starts on 21st October. Until then it's good bye from all of us here....
Sohag Gazi is the Man of the Match for his all-round effort. He scored his maiden hundred and claimed a hat-trick in the second innings.
Finally, this run-fest has come to an end. Both teams made merry on this flat pitch, with Mominul going on to make 181 in his 4th Test. Gazi also got to his maiden hundred. The bowlers toiled hard for the first 4 days and the pitch started to assist spinners on the last day, with Gazi claiming a 6-wicket haul including a hat-trick in the second innings. Gazi also became the first player in the history of Test cricket to score a century and then claim a hat-trick. For the Black Caps, Williamson, Watling and Fulton excelled with the bat and they got some good support from the tail. New Zealand spinners were ineffective compared to the Bangladeshi spinners and that should be a concern for the visitors.
