Faf du Plessis: ' Its a pretty good feeling. Its nice to look at the scoreboard and see 44 required off 1 ball. I just think in general we have played good cricket. We were unlucky in the second game. It has been a nice learning process. I like taking responsibility. I am really looking forward to playing Test cricket again.'

Henry Davids:' I try to keep things simple. I am loving my cricket. I have a great support base. Playing for South Africa is the best cricketing experience I have had. My main goal was to get out there and enjoy it.'

Brendon McCullum:' I think South Africa played really well in those clutch moments. They exposed us. We were not quite at our best. But this series did have some positives for us. 165 could have been a pleasing score to restrict them to. We did not respond well to pressure. Our top order did not bat well.'

The visitors were never in the chase after Guptill and Brendon McCullum got out. Franklin was probably their last hope but even he did not inspire any confidence. The Proteas fielded like tigers and their catching was of the highest standard. Mclaren and Phangiso were the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets each. With that South Africa win the 3 match T20I series 2-1.
