Nuwan Kulasekara is the MoM for his haul of 5/22. This was his first five wicket haul in ODIs.

Clarke: 'We would have batted first. We batted very poorly. We did not bat well and we could not negotiate the swing. It was a very good Brisbane wicket. Our shot selection and execution was very poor. If we continue to play like this, the public will not want us playing. We are looking to play the best team. We have no excuses for this performance. After the resumption of the break, Tharanga and Kushal Perera got going with some boundaries. Sri Lanka lost two further wickets but it was not enough to cause any panic for the Lankans. In the end, Sri Lanka have won by four wickets, registering their first ever ODI win against Australia at this venue.
