Pollard has been adjudged the Man of the Match for his superb effort despite it going in vain.
Pollard takes a stump as a personal souvenir. His century was never going to be enough for West Indies after they collapsed dismally to Mitchell Johnson. The total was never going to be a threatening one. The Australian openers started attacking and Watson's fine knock gave Australia the perfect base in the chase. They never seemed to be in any sort of bother and finished the chase in a canter.
