Australia vs West Indies, 5th ODI, West Indies in Australia 2013

Commentary

Australia won by 17 runs | Australia Vs West Indies Live Score, 5th ODI

We hoped you enjoyed the game today. Do join us again for the T20I series that begins on the 13th of this month. Cheers and goodbye for now.
West Indies will be really disappointed with the way the series panned out. The injury to Gayle did not help their cause either. Australia showed their characteristic ruthlessness and pressed hard for the 5-0 victory margin. They will be buoyant before they head out to a tougher tour of India.
Watson: 'Adam Voges was absolutely amazing. Haddin did well and gave us the momentum. I knew the way we bowled and the way West Indies play, they will take some risks. I'm looking forward to whatever games we can play. Really looking forward to get on the plane to India.'
Voges: 'It's great to be back in the side. Tonight was a dead rubber but when you're a fringe player there is no such thing. I went well during the Big Bash and kicked off from then. New players bring fresh energy. It was great for the likes of Haddin and Shaun Marsh to get a chance today too.'
A comfortable victory for Australia in the end. Their batsmen set it up led by the Man of the Match, Adam Voges. The chase was never going to be easy but West Indies began in earnest. Until the halfway point they were well and truly in the game. Johnson Charles' streaky 100 and Pollard's watchful innings gave them hope but neither could last till the end.
