Samuels: It was an important innings for me and the team effort was very good. The wicket was very slow and once you are set in, you can score runs easily here. I am enjoying my stay here in Bangladesh and I am looking forward to going to Dhaka.

Sammy: It's a step in the right direction for West Indies and we wanted to win this series badly. Tino is a brilliant bowler as he performed consistently. All the players performed to their potential and I am happy with the overall effort. I think couple of new guys are praticing in Dhaka. The confidence in the team is good right now and we are a stronger unit in the ODIs and T20Is. I would like to thank the crowd for their support.
Rahim: I think in this Test match, the boys showed lot of character, but we didn't play to our potential. Congrats to Shakib for his 100th Test wicket. Nasir also played well. In the West Indies team, 7 players got to their hundreds, but we couldn't match that. We will fight hard in the ODI series.
A clean sweep for West Indies in the end as they take the series 2-0 with a clinical 10-wicket win in the second Test. Tino Best was the pick of the bowlers for West Indies as he took his first 2 5-wicket hauls in Tests and was ably supported by Edwards at the other end. Samuels and the ever reliable Chanderpaul excelled with the bat and both completed their double tons in the series. Bravo also got to his ton and found some form. The only worry for West Indies is the ineffectiveness of Narine in the long format of the game as he struggled to pick wickets even on a 5th day pitch. Bangladesh like always crumbled in the second innings after playing brilliantly in the first. They have to apply themselves on a consistent basis in order to play Test cricket.
