Virat Kohli floors fans at Holkar Stadium ahead of India vs South Africa 2015, 2nd ODI at Indore

With India having lost the Twenty20 International (T20I) series and the first One-Day International (ODI) at Green Park, Kanpur, eyes have shifted to Indore where Team India look to come to level terms in the series against a classy South African unit. Virat Kohli, the blue-eyed boy of Indian cricket, who of late has been struggling through a lean patch, still got all the eyes and applause at Indore. Apparently at a practice session in the Holkar Stadium when Kohli came to bat in the nets there was an instant uproar to catch a glimpse of the Indian ton-machine.

The Delhi lad perfectly played to the crowds, taking on the bowlers at the net. In the video uploaded by Indian Cricket team in Instagram we see Kohli advancing down the track to defend a ball coming into him, cramping him for room. The second ball is short and Kohli rocks back to cut it in front of point. The footwork here is commendable, and finally he uses the long handle to dance down the track smash it with disdain to what could be cow corner.

Kohli has been short of confidence in recent times, but the fans are sure he will turn it around at a place where big runs are scored. The Holkar stadium also boasts of staging the Virender Sehwag double century when he ravaged a decent West Indian bowling attack en route to 219.
