Spain will kick-off their FIFA World Cup 2014 campaign against the Netherlands in the third match of the quadrennial football event on June 13. This is a Group B match in Arena Fonte Nova Salvador. Spain are the defending champions, having won the final of the 2010 event against the very same opponents they will face in today’s game.
The Dutch will be keen to take revenge over the Spanish after a very close final that saw the former go down by just one goal. Andres Iniesta was the hero for Spain that day, and Netherlands will be hoping that there is no encore of that feat. Both these teams are favourties to win the World Cup, as they each have strong squads.
