Total domination from Pakistan. Not allowing Bangladesh to get away with anything at all. Bangladesh need 136 more runs to win from 54 balls.
Zulfiqar Babar strikes as Bangladesh lose yet another wicket! This time it is the priced scalp of Mushfiqur, who has been trapped in front of his wickets. No turn at all still the left-arm spinner manages a wicket.
OUT! M Rahim lbw Zulfiqar 2(4)
Shamsur Rahman’s stay at the crease is ended by Shahid Afridi, who strikes on his first ball of the match. Bangladesh completely on backfoot here. Beed another 144 runs to win from just 66 balls.

Zulfiqar Babar comes into the attack with his slightly unusual bowling action. Gets no turn at all in his first over but does well by containing the Bangladeshi batsmen to only four runs.
Only four runs off Mohammad Hafeez’s third over of the match. Bangladesh in need of some momentum as they need another 151 runs to win from 13 overs.
Saeed Ajmal comes into the attack and strikes on the fourth ball! Anamul Haque departs as he gives a return catch. Earlier in the over, the star spinner was welcomed with a boundary. Close call for Shamsur Rahman who does well to have dragged his back foot back in crease, survives a stumping chance.
OUT! A Haque c&b Ajmal 18(16)
Tamim Iqbal departs in a bid to score quickly. The left-handed batsman comes down the wicket to hit Umar Gul, but misses out to connect and the ball hits the leg-stump. Excellent over as only two runs are scored in it.
OUT! T Iqbal b Gul 16(15)
Tamim gets into the groove with a pull shot off Sohail Tanvir through deepish square leg. Good over for Bangladesh as 10 runs are scored off it.
Anamul slams Hafeez for a boundary, this time in the midwicket region off Mohammad Hafeez. His presence at the crease is crucial for Bangladesh. Another seven runs added to the total.
Anamul Haque gets into the groove with a nudge past the fielder at the first slip off Sohail Tanvir on the first ball. Seven runs scored in the over.

OUT! S Afridi c Ziaur b Al Amin 22(8)
Eventful over this. Ahmed Shehzad is caught off a no-ball. The batsmen had crossed and Shahid Afridi slams a six over covers. The next ball is again hit for a maximum as the fielder at the cover boundary fails to keep it in. The final ball is hit for a boundary by Shehzad off Mortaza. As many as 24 runs scored in this over.
Shakib Al Hasan gets his first wicket as Shoaib Malik is stumped off a widish delivery. Ahmed Shehzad completes his century, which is first by any Pakistan cricketer in the format. Superb knock!
OUT! S Malik st Rahim b Shakib 26(23)
Good over by Al Amin Hossain as he doesn’t allow the Pakistani batsmen to get away. Only five runs are scored off him. Pakistan cross the 150-run mark.
For the third time in the innings Ahmed Shehzad moves across the stumps and tries to hit a seamer towards the leg side. Misses to connect yet again. But he improvises and smashes Mortaza through covers. Good over for Pakistan as 16 runs are scored off it.
A mishit from Shehzad off Shakib falls safely on the leg side. Seven more runs added to the Pakistan total.
Shoaib Malik hits a boundary through the midwicket region on the fourth ball off Mahmudullah, and sloppy work by Nassir Hossain in the deep gifts another four to Pakistan.
Shehzad breaks the shackles with a six over midwicket and follows it up with a boundary through backward point. Pakistan go past the 100-run mark in the 13th over of the game. They may have lost momentum, but this platform is indeed good to assist them in setting up a huge total. Shehzad, meanwhile, is taking the attack to Bangladesh as he slams another six off the fifth ball, and the final ball is hit for another boundary. 22 runs scored off Ziaur Rahman.
Boundaries have dried up for Pakistan as the batsmen scramble to add another six runs to their total, off Mahmudullah.
Excellent spell by Abdur Razzak comes to and end as he ties down the Pakistan batsmen in his last over. Seven runs are scored in it. Razzak ends his quota with figures of 4-0-20-2.
Pakistan are losing momentum as spinners have put Bangladesh on top. In and out for Umar Akmal as Pakistan have lost their third wicket. Umar tries to cut a ball outside off-stump, but gets a leading edge and Tamim Iqbal at short third man takes a good catch. Shoaib Malik walks in.
OUT! U Akmal c Tamim b Mahmudullah 0(2)
Abdur Razzak continues as this is his third over of the match. Gets a huge wicket on the fifth ball as he foxes Hafeez with his flight. The batsman had danced down the wicket and is stumped. Ahmed Shehzad, meanwhile, has completed his half-century.
OUT! M Hafeez st Rahim b Razzak 8(12)
Excellent shot by Ahmed Shehzad, who lifts a fuller ball by Al Amin through the covers. The ball goes on to hit the ropes. Shehzad gets a little sloppy later in the over as he attempts two reverse sweeps and misses out. On the second occasion the ball missed the off stump by an inch or two.
Bangladesh have somehow managed to pull back things in control with that wicket of Kamran Akmal, and also through some good spin bowling. Only four runs scored off Razzak in the seventh over of the innings.
Shakib bowls an impressive over as only four runs are scored off him. The left-arm spinner sends down an arm ball that troubles Pakistan captain Hafeez.

OUT! K Akmal c Ziaur b Razzak 9(12)
Shakib Al Hasan is introduced in the attack and is hit for a boundary by Kamran Akmal, who gets a top edge. Eight runs scored.
Mortaza continues and Shehzad slams him towards the midwicket area for his third boundary. Follows it up with another as this time it is hit in the deep square leg. Another boundary through the covers and the over is ended with a clean hit down the ground for a six. 18 runs scored in that over.
Ahmed Shehzad gets going with a boundary on the third ball of Al Amin Hossain’s first over. A loose delivery on the pads was flicked away for a four. Shehzad hits the fifth ball straight down the ground for the second boundary of the over. 11 runs scored off that over.
Mashrafe Mortaza begins the proceedings for Bangladesh and is very impressive in the first over. Beats Kamran Akmal on the fifth ball which swung in and went over the wickets. Akmal puts away the final ball of the over for a four through point region.

Hello and welcome to the live updates of this Group 2 Super 10s clash between Bangladesh and Pakistan in the ICC World T20 2014 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Pakistan would be aiming to take a step forward towards semi-final qualification as they aim to get past an out-of-sync Bangladesh side in the Group 2 League match of the ICC World T20 2014 on Sunday.
