And the Indians win! Gambhir dispatches Greg Cork for a boundary and India get to their target with several overs to spare. Pujara and Binny are definitely the top performers for India in the match. Pujara scored a secure and confident 81 in the first innings. Binny did well with both bat and ball, scoring 81 runs in the first innings and taking 2 wickets in the match. The Indian bowling is a cause for concern though and it’ll have to improve if India has any chance of winning the upcoming test series.

Rohit Sharma fails to impress with the bat and gets dismissed by David Wainwright. Gautam Gambhir is the new man in and he’ll look to guide India home to victory along with Wriddhiman Saha.
OUT! R Sharma 10 (19)
Both Murali Vijay and Ajinkya Rahane have retired out to give other batsman some batting practice in English conditions. Indians are now just 39 runs away from victory and if they keep batting like this, it shouldn’t be long before they clinch victory. Rohit Sharma and Wriddhiman Saha are now at the crease and both batsmen will look to hit some form before the first test match against England.
OUT! M Vijay 41 (53), OUT! A Rahane 39 (65)
Indians are now batting with urgency. Murali Vijay hits three fours in the 18th over. Indians now require just 66 more runs to clinch victory.

Murali Vijay and Ajinkya Rahane are looking to rebuild the Indian innings with Vijay scoring a boundary in almost every over.
Shikhar Dhawan fails yet again with the bat. Is he going to be picked in the starting XI for the first test? That remains to be seen. In the meanwhile, Ajinkya Rahane has come out to bat and started with a boundary in just his second ball.
OUT! S Dhawan 9 (10)
Derbyshire have declared at 156/3 and India have to chase 141 to win the tour match. All eyes will now be on Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay who did not perform too well with the bat in the first innings.
R Ashwin’s bad luck with the bowl continues. He has now gone for 37 runs in his five overs. Both batsman scoring at a swift pace and things not looking good for India at the moment.
Both batsman have decided that they’ll increase the rate at which they are scoring runs. Alex Hughes, especially is scoring at a swift pace having scored 23 of 22 balls. The Indian bowlers are searching for answers, and R Ashwin specially is struggling. He has gone for 24 runs in his first 3 overs already.
Derbyshire 82/3 | Overs 34
Match resumes after lunch. Stuart Binny and Mohammed Shami continues India’s proceedings. Shami picks up Borrington right after lunch. Derbyshire loses their third wicket.

Murali Vujay was introduced into the attack surprisingly. He bowled the last over before the umpires called for lunch on day three.
Jadeja and Sharma both looking to restrict Derbyshire to a small total but they need more wickets in order to put them under pressure.
Ishant Sharma is proving to be economical just like Kumar. Binny turned out to be the surprise package. He gave away only 4 runs from his 3 over with two maidens. Ravindra Jadeja bowls his first over.
Stuart Binny picks up Hughes in his very first over. He is definitely going to make the selectors think ahead of India’s first test against the English. On the Other hand Ishant bowls a maiden over.

It seems that Ishant Sharma has finally found his line and length. But his problem with over-stepping prevails.
Kumar has been super economical. He gave away only five runs in his six overs with three maidens to his name. Ishant Sharma have been introduced into the attack replacing Kumar. Shami continues to concede runs on the other end.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been economical yet again. Mohammed Shami looking a bit out of shape as he is unable to find the correct line and length. But India needs to pick up more wickets in order to restrict Derbyshire to a small total.
