Kings XI cruise to a comfortable win. Sandeep Sharma was awarded the man of the match for his early inroads. It bye from me now.
Starc hits the ball to fine leg but Mandeep lets the ball go between his legs for a boundary. The day keeps getting better for Miller. The Protea dashes forward from long-off after Starc miscues the ball in the air and Miller pounces like a leopard to take the catch. Aaron produces a good finish as the last two balls went for a four and a six.

Akshar Patel comes into the attack and the batsmen take six of the over and Balaji will bowl the last over of the match.
Starc decides to go for broke and slaps a boundary over cover point for four of Sandeep. Only singles come of the last few balls as Punjab close in on another win.
Harshal smacks the ball down the ground for a boundary and then an nicks a short ball to Saha. Starc then keeps the strike of the last ball.

Balaji is into the attack and the ball slips out of his hand but AB expertly hits a six of the no-ball. The next ball is a typical AB short. Slightly hunching and smacking it over deep-mid wicket. That brings up another magnificent fifty for AB. The Protea goes big on the off side and is safely pouched by Akshar of a slow delivery.Harshal Patel is dropped of a rather lazy effort by Viru.

Mitchell Johnson is into the attack with Bailey deciding to finish things off. Johnson bowls two yorkers to start with and its dug out for a single and a two. Starc then smacks the Johnson’s half-volley down the ground for a boundary. Starc keeps the strike.
Expensive start by Shivam. De Villiers comes down the wicket and smacks the ball into the sightscreen for a six. Mitchell Starc gets into the act with a good cut shot for a four. The next ball though, the Aussie is beaten by the spin. Shivam finishes his spell on an outstanding debut.
Akshar Patel bowls a another tidy over and just four runs come of the it.
So much happening here. Albie tries a wild heave and the ball safely lands at Bailey’s hands. AB decided to take matters in his own hands with a huge six.

Glenn Maxwell is into the attack and AB gets his front foot out and smacks over the owlers head for a six. Albie hits it high into the sky and almost touches the moon and back and Millier’s valiant effort goes in vain. Albie then smacks it over deep mid wicket and its another six.
Shivam bowls his second over and de Villiers shows a signal of intent by hitting the ball hard. Yet another painful knock by Yuvi comes to an end after dancing down the wicket and getting an edge, which goes straight to Sehwag at slip. Albie Morkel almost follows suit but goes through Viru’s fingers.

Akshar Patel comes into the attack an de Viliers lofts the ball over the bowlers head for a boundary. Yuvraj continues to struggle but keeps the strike.
Shivam is into the attack and the off-spinner tosses, teases and beats Yuvraj all ends up and it just mounts the pressure on RCB.
Parthiv Patel’s lifting the ball only landed kindly to Mandeep at deep point. Sachin Rana was beaten by Akshar’s spin and is castled.

Mitchell Johnson continues and the ball is lifted just over mid off for a boundary. Parthiv then hooks of the third ball and but only a single comes of it. Johnson finishes the over with an excellent bouncer.
Balaji bowls the fourth over of the match and the third delivery is almost caught by the diving gully fielder Glenn Maxwell. There is another boundary of the next ball by Sachin Rana.
Sandeep gets Chris Gayle! The ball is slightly wide and Gayle swings at it and only gets an edge and its safely taken by Saha.Virat Kohli’s first ball is slightly wide and the ball goes to the keeper and to the surprise of everyone in the stadium, Kohli is out. The stunned Kohli walks back but is told to wait. Saha’s catch is judged as a clean take after much deliberation. Sandeep follows it with a good yorker and it is an over that could seal the tie, or very well.
Mitchell Johnson bowls the second over and the bowler says a few words after the wicket-keeper smacked the ball down the ground. The fourth ball is short and Parthiv hooks confidently for a boundary which falls just in front of the ropes. Johnson finishes the over with a good bouncer and a word or two to Parthiv again.
The reliable Saneep Sharma starts things off and three balls leave Gayle in a trance. Gayle then dabs..yes, dabs the ball down the ground and races to the boundary.Harshal beats Gayle again and the last ball is dropped chance of a caught and bowled chance.
Starc will bowl the last over the innings and starts off well. Starc then underlines his death bowling credentials with a magnificent yorker that crashes on to Akshar’s stumps. Shivam starts off with a four down the third man fence and is yorked again by Starc. Johnson finishes off proceedings with an excellent flick to third man and its a tall order for Bangalore.

Varun Aaron comes in to bowl the 19th over of the match and only a single comes of the first three balls. The fourth ball is wide and full and Johnson cant cart the ball over the fence. The fourth ball is short and is slashed by Akshar and Harshal almost takes a spectacular catch at third man. The ball is bounced out of the rope by Harshal but he cant latch on to the rebound.
Harshal is back after bowling one of the most expensive overs in IPL 2014. Johnson plays his typical flick and the ball sails over the ropes for a big six. The next ball is smacked down the ground and Harshal does well to stop with his legs. Saha is deceived by a slow ball and can only scoop the ball to de Villiers at mid-off.

Varun Aaron is into the attack and an agricultural cut goes to the boundarry. Its a wide ball the Aaron gets a away with it. The next ball is slapped to covers off a full toss and Chahal takes a superb catch to bring curtains to a stunning knock. Anything you can do! Aaron welcomes Johnson with a absolute snorter. Saha taps the ball on the leg side and takes a couple of the last ball.

First ball is a flat six off Harshal, which narrowly beats Mitchell Starc at deep mid-wicket. The next ball is lifted over long on by Miller and the ball has landed in the Bangalore shopping centre. Then its a four down fine leg and Miller has scored a blistering half-century here. The last ball is a slower one and Saha frees his arms for another six over fine leg. 26 comes of the over!
Albie Morkel is into the attack again and the Protea again is tidy and the batsmen can only take singles of the first few ball. The fifth ball is a loosener and the killer miller misses out. Saha is enduring a tough stay at the crease and thats the end of Morkel’s impressive spell.
Chahal is into the attack its a tidy over and only five runs comes of the over. Yet another super show by chahal.
Mitchell Starc is into the attack and its a tidy few balls to start of with. The fourth ball is short and wide and is spanked through the covers for yet another boundary Miller boundary. The next boundary is even more spectacular and after the ball is lifted to long off and follows that is cut behind point for another four. Its a David Millier treat out here!
Albie Morkel comes into the attack and looks good , bowling the line his teammates should have. Bailey’s uncomfortable stay is ended by nicking the ball to the keeper and Saha only blocks the first two balls and its the best over of the innings.

Chahal is teasing Bailey and the Australian gets off strike. Miller then bludgeons a monstrous six which goes out of the ground. Haven’t seen a bigger six in the tournament so far. Miller punishes through the off side and its only a single.
Varun Aaron comes in and a cracking Miller cover drive goes to the boundary. The Protea then pulls on the leg side and its another boundary. Overpitched from Aaron and it is superbly stopped by Yuvraj in the deep and the last ball is a juicy half volley and it is another four.
Chahal is enjoying the battle with Maxwell and the the leggie has been impressive and the batsmen only take singles. Maxwell tries to heave on the on side and nothing much goes beyond Mitchell Starc and you would think RCB won the IPL already.

Kohli gives the ball to Yuvraj Singh and there it has not been easy to play the spinners. Maxwell then shuts my mouth by slicing Yuvraj straight down the ground for a massive six. Maxwell slams it in orbit and the ball just about sails over the rope. Maxwell then slams the ball to deep square leg and its a boundary. Maxwell show is on
One of the finds of the tournament, Yuzvendra Chahal is into the attack and the batsmen take four singles. Sehwag is enticed by the flight and his loft his mistimed and is safely caught in the deep by Virat Kohli. Maxwell keeps the strike

Harshal Patel starts off with a horrible wide down the leg-side. Viru then lefts it over mid-off fielder finger tips for a cracking boundary and the score races beyond fifty already. Harshal bowls another wide and Sehwag gets off strike of the next ball. The Gujarat medium pacer tries a slow ball and its the third wide of the over. Things go from bad to worse for Harshal after his pick up and throw at the non strikers end while the batsmen crossed for a single missed the stumps and Sachin Tana’s valiant effort goes in vain as the ball touches the boundary curtains. Harshal this time gets his man as another slow ball deceives Mandeep and its a simple catch to Albie at mid-on. Maxwell starts off with a classy boundary of a full toss.

Varun Aaron is into the attack and Mandeep’s hook shot goes over the bowler’s head and goes for a boundary. Mandeep then flicks of the hips and there is misfield that allows him to take a single. Aaron then bowls a tame wide and and finishes off what was another good over for Punjab.
Morkel continues to bowl. Sehwag dabs it to deep fine-leg and a single comes of it. Mandeep then plays a lovely cut short and the ball is well stopped in the deep by Starc, who dived full length on his wrong side. Mandeep then takes a quick single to give Sehwag the strike. A half-volley is gloriously lifted for a classic Viru-off-side boundary. Another good over for Punjab
Starc continues and Mandeep plays a gorgeous cover drive for a boundary. Sehwag nervously prods and the ball falls just in front of Yuvraj at point. A good delivery from Starc again and the ball in front of Chris Gayle at third slip. Well played by Sehwag though, showing deft hands. Starc oversteps and its a free hit! Starc bowls a clever slow ball its rather unfairly been called a wide. Starc darts in in and Sehwag misses of the rebowled free-hit.
Albie Morkel bowls the second o er of the match and troubles Viru with a good bouncer. The next ball is short and in the zone when an off-side field is set and the the veteran Indian opener obliges with another four. A single comes of the next ball and the batsmen scamper for a single. Viru unsuccessfully ploughs the final ball.No run.
The game is under way at the batting paradise that is the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Mitchell Starc starts things off and Sehwag slashes and goes fine down to third man for a boundary. Viru plays a glorious cover drive but it straight to the fielder. A wild heave of the next ball is missed but bad ball down the leg side is tucked away fine down fine leg for another boundary. Strarc is targeting the middle and leg and Sehwag takes a single of a leg bye of the fifth ball and Mandeep is beaten of the last ball of the over.
