The court had looked into all the allegations and has said that as a result, N Srinivasan cannot be permitted to discharge any function in the BCCI. At the same time, they have asked him and the BCCI for a response as to how they will conduct the investigations into the allegations.

The Supreme Court also says that any probe into the allegations have to be done by BCCI itself. Here is what PTI reports:

The news that is coming in is that Sundar Raman has been allowed to continue as IPL COO. Here is what Ayaz Memon tweeted:

Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s coverage of the Supreme Court’s hearing of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 spot-fixing and betting controversy. After some drama in the last week of March, we have a hearing on the day the IPL 2014 kicks off in the United Arab Emirates. The Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were nearly ousted before Supreme Court allowed them to play. N Srinivasan had to step aside as the BCCI President and Sunil Gavaskar had to come in as an interim president for the IPL. This hearing will now continue in the Supreme Court today and one doesn’t know what to expect.
