Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s coverage of the Supreme Court’s hearing of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 spot-fixing and betting controversy. After some drama in the last week of March, we have a hearing on the day the IPL 2014 kicks off in the United Arab Emirates. The Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were nearly ousted before Supreme Court allowed them to play. N Srinivasan had to step aside as the BCCI President and Sunil Gavaskar had to come in as an interim president for the IPL. This hearing will now continue in the Supreme Court today and one doesn’t know what to expect.
