Paul Stirling is the Man of the Match for his 60 runs off 34 deliveries. He struck nine fours and one six in his innings. Well that is it from us for now. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Have a great day!

Panyangara will bowl the last over of the match. He bowls one full and Joyce flicks it over mid-wicket for a single. Thompson hits one towards mid-off and gets a single. Panyangara bowls a yorker on the leg side. The ball goes in-between bat and pad and Joyce gets bowled. Max Sorensen hits his first delivery towards mid-off and takes off for a single. The throw comes in and he gets run out at the bowler’s end. Thompson then guides a wide delivery towards third-man for a single. So, one run required off one delivery. Alex Cusack misses the last ball and goes for the single. Taylor misses with the throw and Thompson is safe. He does get knocked down with a sliding tackle, but the run is completed. Ireland win by three wickets.
OUT! E Joyce 22(28), M Sorenson 0(1)
Stuart Thompson is the next batsman in. Chatara comes in. Joyce gets a single towards cover. Thompson gets of the mark with a quick single towards the off side. Joyce then pulls a slower delivery towards long-leg for a single.

Joyce then gives the strike back to O’Brien with a single on the off side. Panyangara then bowls a yorker and O’Brien swings his bat and gets an under-edge. The ball goes behind the short fine-leg fielder for a four. O’Brien then lofts one straight to Williams at long-off.

Taylor surprises many by replacing Panyangara by Williams. But he does well by conceding two leg-byes of the first five deliveries. Joyce then cuts a wide delivery for two runs towards deep cover.
Kevin O’Brien is the next batsman in. He is the record holder for the fastest century in a 50-over World Cup match. His century came against England off only 55 deliveries in the 2011 World Cup. Utseya comes in. A mixture of singles, a wide and a two make it eight runs from the over.
Panyangara comes back into the attack. He bowls one yorker and Poynter flicks it to Chigumbura at short mid-wicket. The third delivery is full and down the leg side. Stirling gets his bat onto that and it races away for a four towards fine-leg. OUT! B Taylor 59(46)
O’Brien comes in. Taylor lifts one over mid-wicket and gets a four. That brings him his half-century. This is Taylor’s fifth T20I half-century. Taylor chips a slower delivery in the air and gets another four towards straight long-on. Taylor then hits another one in the air and wide of the long-on fielder.
Dockrell comes back into the attack. Sibanda mishits a pull in the air and Sorensen takes the catch at deep mid-wicket. Elton Chigumbura is the next batsman in. He gets of the mark with a single towards deep cover.
OUT! Sibanda 16(18)
Kevin O’Brien has been brought into the attack. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He gives only two runs off the first five delivery. But his last delivery is slightly short and Sibanda pulls that over mid-wicket for a four.
McBrine also to bowl his last over. The 100 comes up for Zimbabwe as Sibanda takes a single towards the off side. Taylor then sweeps one in the air towards deep square-leg. But it is well fielded to keep it to only two runs.

Hello and warm welcome to CricketCountry’s live updates of the ICC World T20 Qualifier match between Ireland and Zimbabwe. I am Shrikant Shankar and I will be bringing you the live updates of the match.

Ireland will aim to make most of the opportunity when they take on a rusty Zimbabwe side in the qualifying round match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2014 on Monday.

While the Irish will be aiming to make an impressive start to the tournament with a big win over a side that has been away from competitive cricket for more than six months, Zimbabwe’s pride will be at stake as they are the only Full Member nation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which is in the qualifying round.
