OUT & THAT”S IT!!!!!!! Bangladesh win by 124 runs as the take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series. Bangladesh have outplayed Zimbabwe in every department so far in the series and have produced a display of brilliant gameplay and teamwork. Anamul Haque gets Man of the Match award.
Tafadzwa Kamungozi 4(9) b Arafat Sunny

OUT!!!!! IT’S TWO AGAIN!!!! Madziva and Panyangara too walk back on two quick balls as the Zimbabweans are down to the last pair. Chigumbura is still standing tall but can’t do much as he fails to get any support on the other side.
Neville Madziva 11(24) c Kayes b Sunny, Tinashe Panyangara 0(1) b Sunny

OUT AGAIN!!!!!!! Moor couldn’t last long either and departs for just two off 11 as he is trapped leg-before off Rubel Hossain. Madziva comes in as Zimbabwe near their innings collapse.
Peter Moor 2(11) lbw b Rubel Hossain

OUT!!!!!!! Chakabva fall for 14 and is bowled by Mahmudullah. Peter Moor comes in as Zimbabwe still need 178 runs to win.
Regis Chakabva 14(38) b Mahmudullah

Chakabva and Chigumbura play sensibly with Zimbabwe still requiring 192 more runs to win as half of the team is already back pavilion. Bangladesh bowlers are giving a tough time to the bowlers as the game progresses further.

OUT, 2 CONSECUTIVE ONES!!!!!!! Mire and Taylor depart in consecutive overs and it’s all trouble for Zimbabweans. Five down and half of the side is back pavilion. 2 new men on crease.
Solomon Mire 12(33) st Mushfiqur Rahim b Arafat Sunny, Brendan Taylor 28(40) lbw b Shakib Al Hasan

Fifty up for Zimbabwe as they chase 298 set by Bangladesh batting first, but they must make sure that they don’t lose further wickets and build-up a good partnership to make the chase possible. Skipper Taylor and Mire have a huge responsibility ahead.

OUT AGAIN!!!!!!!! It’s Maruma who has to depart for just eight and it’s Rubel who gets him off a catch to Mortaza. Taylor still stays in as Mire comes in and Zimbabwe badly need a good-partnership here.
Timycen Maruma 8(16) c Mashrafe Mortaza b Rubel Hossain

GONE AGAIN!!!!! It’s Masakadza now who has to depart for cheap 12 and it’s Mortaza who strike again to dismiss him off a catch to skipper, Mushfiqur. Both the openers dismissed and it’s the skipper who comes in.
Hamilton Masakadza 12(15) c Mushfiqur Rahim b Mashrafe Mortaza

OUT!!!!!!!! Just as I was saying to bat sensibly, they lose the first wicket and it’s the most experienced opening batsman, Vusi Sibanda who needs to deaprt for mere 9 as Mortaza dismisses him off a catch to |Arafat.
Vusi Sibanda 9(6) c Arafat Sunny b Mashrafe Mortaza

A slow start to the Zimbabwean innings as the batsmen make sure that they mat sensibly and not suffer early setbacks with a big score required to chase down. Just a boundary hit in the first couple of overs.

THAT”S IT!!!! So Zimbabwe need 298 runs to win the third game here at Mirpur, Dhaka. Thanks to Anamul Haque’s brilliant 95 that helped Bangladesh post good total after a good start to their innings.Panyangara was the highest wicket-taker claiming two for 54.
Sabbir Rahman 22(13) c Maruma b Madziva

GONE!!!!!!! It’s a big one and it’s none other than their star all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan who departs for a good 40. However, he would surely be unhappy after failing to get his half-century. Mahmudullah makes his way to the crease as Mushfiqur Rahim too departs for 33 off Panyangara getting bowled.
Shakib Al Hasan 40(33) c Chigumbura b Panyangara, Mushfiqur Rahim 33(22) b Panyangara

After two consecutive setbacks, Bangladesh batsmen Mushfiqur and Shakib take control and make sure that Bangladesh goes past 250 and put a commendable total on the board.

OUT!!!! Two crucial wickets in consecutive overs. Two set batsmen in the form of Anamul and Mominul are dismissed for 95 and 15 respectively as Kamungozi and Maskadza provide the crucial break-through.
Anamul Haque 95(120) c Masakadza b Kamungozi, Mominul Haque 15(24) c Maruma b Masakadza

The loss of Tamim Iqbal has hardly inflicted any damage on the Bangladesh side as they continue to bat comfortably. Opener Anamul Haque is in his 80s and Mominul haque is on 12.

OUT!!!!!!!!!! Finally a break-through for the Zimbabweans and that too in the form of a run-out. So, luck going their way as Tamim Iqbal is dismissed at 40, just 10 short of his half-century with the partnership being broken at 121.
Tamim Iqbal 40(63) run out

100-run partnership up between both the openers as Bangladesh is off to a flying start. Anamul Haque has also score his half-century while Tamim is in the 30s and approaching a possible half-century as well.

Sensible start to the innings as the Bangladesh openers are in total control against the Zimbabwean bowlers. Meanwhile, Anamul Haque is nearing his half-century. Five boundaries in the last five overs.

Another impressive four overs from Bangladesh as the openers make sure everything goes smoothly without any setbacks. They also near the opening 50-run stand of the innings with no harm done.

Another good three overs with no harm done for Bangladesh as openers Tamim and Anamul continue to bat in a good manner. Just a boundary in the last three overs with the batsman looking to bat with a positive approach.

Good start to the innings so far by the Bangladesh openers as they play sensibly in the initial stages of the game and early afternoon conditions, making sure that they don’t suffer early setbacks. Just a boundary hit in the last four overs.

Starts off with a big one in the first over as opener Tamim hits a six off Panyangara to get off the mark for himself and Bangladesh as well.

Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the third One-Day International (ODI) between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on Wednesday. I am Ayush Gupta and I will bring you the live updates from the match.

Bangladesh are currently leading the five-match series 2-0, after having won the first and second ODIs, both played at Chittagong, by margins of 87 and 68 runs respectively. They managed to carry their dominant form over from the Test series, which they whitewashed 3-0. Now, they take on Zimbabwe in the third match with the intention of closing the series. For Zimbabwe, this will be the last chance to retrieve something from an otherwise horrendous tour.

Bangladesh have had a measure of Zimbabwe under the second coming of Mashrafe Mortaza as their ODI skipper. The most encouraging aspect of Bangladesh’s demolition of Zimbabwe has been the consistent ruthlessness of it, something you seldom associate with them. They haven’t let their foot off the pedal.

If they can close the series in the third ODI, it will leave them the luxury to experiment in the last couple of matches, although for a team that’s tasted success so sporadically, developing a winning habit is essential and so they must guard against complacency.
