Live cricket scores | Zim 40/0 | Overs 9 | Batting: Luke Jongwe 30(32), Chamu Chibhabha 9(22): The run rate has suddenly increased with Jongwe hitting boundaries every now and then. Live cricket scores | Ban 242/5 | Overs 47 | Batting | Mushfiqur Rahim 106(108), Nasir Hossain 0 (2): Mushfiqur scores his fourth ODI ton as Bangladesh look to reach a huge total against Zimbabwe. He came in at a time when Bangladesh lost a couple of quick wickets but has managed to steady things since then. He was being well supported by Sabbir Rahman at the other end, who is eventually dismissed for a well made fifty. OUT! Sabbir Rahman run out 57 (58)

Live cricket scores | Ban 230/4 | Overs 45 | Batting | Mushfiqur Rahim 98(102), Sabbir Rahman 54 (54): Mushfiqur is on the verge of scoring a well-deserved ton. Live cricket scores | Ban 175/4 | Overs 38 | Batting | Mushfiqur Rahim 77(82), Sabbir Rahman 22 (32): Bangladesh scoring some quick runs as Sabbir and Mushfiqur want to ensure that they finish the innings off in a flurry. This will be a real test for Zimbabwe now. Whether or not they manage to contain the Bangladeshi batsmen in the death overs is the question.

Live cricket scores | Ban 141/4 | Overs 33 | Batting | Mushfiqur Rahim 59(66), Sabbir Rahman 6 (18): Mushfiqur and Sabbir are taking things slow and will have to make sure that they do not lose any further wickets at this stage. Zimbabwe are on top at the moment and will hope that they get a few more wickets at this stage and the wicket of Mushfiqur is going to be crcuial at this stage.

Live cricket scores | Ban 136/4 | Overs 31.1 | Batting | Mushfiqur Rahim 57(60), Sabbir Rahman 3 (13): Wicketkeeper Mutumbami is struck on the ankle and is being carried off the field. Live cricket scores | Ban 133/4 | Overs 30 | Batting | Mushfiqur Rahim 56(58), Sabbir Rahman 2 (7): Bangladesh have been rocked by the loss of a couple of wickets, but they are in a decent position to get about 250 on the board. Mushfiqur will be key from here. With hard-hitting batsmen to follow, Bangladesh will fancy their chances of getting to a huge score from here.

Live cricket scores | Ban 123/4 | Overs 28 | Batting | Mushfiqur Rahim 50(52), Sabbir Rahman 0 (1): Bangladesh need to rebuild again after losing Tamim recently. Mushfiqur has reached a half-century and he will be key in ensuring that Bangladesh get to a good score. Shakib would have wanted to support Mushfiqur, but he is stumped off the bowling Raza. OUT! Tamim Iqbal c Jongwe b Raza 40 (68)

Live cricket scores | Ban 99/2 | Overs 23 | Batting | Tamim Iqbal 40(67), Mushfiqur Rahim 42(45): Bangladesh seem to be happy with singles at the moment but they are rotating the strike and keeping the scorecard ticking, which is crucial. Bangladesh need to break this partnership, which is well past 50 at the moment.

Live cricket scores | Ban 85/2 | Overs 21 | Batting | Tamim Iqbal 37(62), Mushfiqur Rahim 31(38):  Bangladesh are going at a steady pace. They are ensuring that they do not lose any wickets here as it could turn out to be catastrophic. Live cricket scores | Ban 76/2 | Overs 19 | Batting | Tamim Iqbal 30(52), Mushfiqur Rahim 29(36): Play has resumed after drinks as Tamim and Mushfiqur look to fight their way out of this tricky situation. They have done well so far and will look to lay a strong platform from where the rest of the batsmen can take over. 10 runs came of the 18th over with a few wides from Sean Williams helping Bangladesh’s cause. Graeme Cremer at the other end seems to be keeping thins tight.

Live cricket scores | Ban 62/2 | Overs 17 | Batting | Tamim Iqbal 27(48), Mushfiqur Rahim 24(28): Tamim and Mishfiqur seem to be building a good partnership at the moment after losing a couple of wickets early on. They do not have a particularly good run rate at the moment, but it will surely pick up once they feel they have gotten their eye in.

Live cricket scores | Ban 53/2 | Overs 15 | Batting | Tamim Iqbal 24(42), Mushfiqur Rahim 18(22): Bangladesh reaches their individual 50. Zimbabwe bowlers doing splendid and their skipper is rotating the bowlers intelligently. Zimbabwe surely wants another breakthrough to dismiss any of the two dangerous batsmen on the crease.

Live cricket scores | Ban 46/2 | Overs 12 | Batting | Tamim Iqbal 20(33), Mushfiqur Rahim 15(13): Amount of boundaries reduced but runs are coming in ones and twos. Live cricket scores | Ban 4/1 | Overs 3 | Batting | Tamim Iqbal 3(12), Mahmudullah 0(0): Bangladesh started off with a big blow as their opener Liton Das departed for a duck. Zimbabwe’s plan of bowling first and getting quick wickets to restrict the hosts within a low score seems to be working. Great effort from Cremer as he took a nice over head catch at the backward point.

OUT! Liton Das c Cremer b Jongwe 0 (6)

TOSS: Zimbabwe won the toss and have elected to field.

The current Bangladesh team is in a tremendous form if 50 overs cricket is concerned. After taking an exit from the quarter finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, they hosted a number of fruitful series starting from Pakistan. They defeated the visiting Pak team in all the three ODIs and the two T20Is played between the two nations. They continued their winning streak as they defeated both India and South Africa 2-1 in the respective ODI series following the Pak. With all these in a small span and the Zimbabwe series being played at home, Bangladesh definitely has advantage.

On the other hand, the Zimbabwe team have just ended a pathetic home series against Afghanistan. Though they started with a win, Zimbabwe lost their way to victory as the tight ODI series ended 3-2 with Afghanistan emerging as the winners. Also, the last time when Zimbabwe toured Bangladesh, they were unable to pull out a single match win. At these circumstances, what is good news for the Zimbabwe team is their performance against Bangladesh Cricket Board XI where they outdid the hosts.
