The arrival of no.4 batsman Sudeep chatterjee has instilled some life into the Bengal innings, even Manoj Tiwary has changed gears and assumed some responsibility to up the ante. Bengal require another 128 runs from 108 balls.

Abrar Kazi trapped Shreevats Goswami in front as Bengal lost their second wicket with 89 on the board. The pressure had been building on the Bengal batsmen with Manoj Tiwary getting bogged down.

With The wicket of Arindam Das Karnataka managed to stymie the run flow as Manoj Tiwary, the no. 3 batsman for Bengal is struggling to get a move on. However Shreevats Goswami is keeping the scoreboard ticking. Bengal require another 182 runs from 174 balls

Arindam Das falls immediately after the openers post 50 on the board. He was unlucky to be run out for 23 off 27 balls.
OUT! A Das run out (Shishir Bhavane) 23 (27)

A sudden flurry of boundaries has taken the Bengal score to 25 from six overs. Arindam Das has raced to 20 off as many balls with three boundaries and one six.

The first over was a maiden which shreevats Goswami played out. Arindam Das gets off the mark with a boundary off the first ball of the second over. Bengal add eight runs from the over of R Vinay Kumar.

Vinay Kumar has played a crucial knock to help his side garner few more runs in this crunch semi-final. Bengal side would be happy with their bowling effort overall, but they need to chase down a tricky total now.

Karnataka have lost their way as their lower-order has been blown away by Bengal. Binny fell after scoring 50 off 69 balls and Karnataka have failed to find another batsmen in their ranks who could hold their innings together.

Stuart Binny has completed his half-century and Karnataka have also crossed the 200-run mark with 12 more overs to go. Bengal will have to find answers soon otherwise they’d be staring at a huge challenge when they come out to bat.

Karun Nair has fallen after a strong stand as Karnataka lose their fifth wicket. His partnership of 74 runs for the fifth wicket has not only revived Karnataka but has also given a platform for a strong total. Karnataka need Stuart Binny to stay till the end.
OUT! K Nair b SS Mandal 41 (47)

Stuart Binny and Karun Nair are leading Karnataka’s revival in Ahmedabad. They have so far added 37 runs for the fifth wicket, and their team would be expecting more runs from them.

Karnataka have lost their way after being asked to bat, as they have lost as many as four wickets. Stuart Binny and Karun Nair are at the crease and Karnataka needed these two to form a big partnership. The scoring rate is above five at the moment, and Karnataka need to maintain this.
