Imran Tahir is the Man of the Match for his crucial nine runs off nine deliveries and then four wickets for 21 runs. Netherlands captain Peter Borren is very disappointed not to have won the match. South Africa keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the semi-finals of the World T20. Netherlands put up a great fight, but South Africa’s extra bit of quality got them through. One does have to say that some of the shots played by the middle and lower-order batsmen was not necessary.

Hendricks is back into the attack. The scoring has slowed down now. Only two runs have come from the first five deliveries in the over. Borren then plays a brilliant straight drive and gets a four down the ground.
Tahir comes in. He bowls one full and Barresi misses with his shot. The South Africans appeal for LBW and the umpire raises his finger. Replays show that the ball would have missed leg-stump. Poor decision that. Tom Cooper is the next batsman in.
OUT! Barresi 14(9)
JP Duminy has been brought into the attack. Barresi plays a reverse-sweep and gets a four through third-man. Barresi then hits one over long-off for a six. Myburgh then comes down the track and swings hard. He gets a thick inside-edge and the ball hits the stumps. The bats also came out of his hands. He was not in full control of that shot. But nonetheless a great innings has come to an end.

OUT! Hendricks 3(4), Miller 17(18)
Bukhari to bowl his last over. Only five runs have come from the over. South Africa are struggling here now.
Are South Africa ‘Choking’?
Malik is back into the attack. He prefers bowling from round the wicket despite being a right-handed bowler. Dale Steyn gets of the mark with a single towards long-on. That is in-between two singles from Miller. Malik bowls one full outside off-stump and Steyn manages to get it through between point and short third-man for a four. Tom Cooper continues. Duminy and David Miller exchange A few singles and a two in the over. This is probably South Africa’s last recognised batting pair.
Malik comes back into the attack. Morkel cuts a wide delivery through cover for a single. Malik bowls a low full-toss and Duminy flicks it away for a single towards mid-wicket. Morkel then hits one high in the air and Ben Cooper takes a good catch at deep mid-wicket.

That is five boundaries in total on the trot.
