Just when it blooked like Mahmudullah will help Bangladesh to avoid the follow on, he perished. Suleiman Benn picked up his wicket. A sharp catch from Ramdin behind the stumps.

Mahmudullah is fighting a lone battle here. They still need another 27 runs to avoid follow on. This has been a patient innings from Mahmudullah. He also became the 11th Bangladeshi batsman to complete 1000 runs in Test cricket. He alos went past his 8th half-century and his fourth against West Indies.
Bangaldeshi’s have lost their first wicket of the morning. Roach and Taylor could not pick up a wicket and thus Shannon Gabriel was introduced. Mahmudullah did not want to take a single and expose Shafiul and as result he edged one away going delivery from Gabriel. A good low catch from ramdin at the end.
OUT! Shafiul Islam c Ramdin b Gabriel 10 (50)
Bangladesh have made a cautious start. They still 65 runs to avoid the follow on and make West Indies bat again in this Test match. Roach and Taylor are bowling well in tandem and they would look to pick up early wickets.
