Age forging is quite normal in India. It is normal occurrence in sports and education system, in order to curb this practise, local cricket organisers have now made it mandatory for all to have Aadhar cards. The organisers of Under-15 cricket tournament, Netlink Dilip Buildcon have conceptualised this idea.

The 50-over tournament will see top 10 of Bhopal take part from April 3 in Mandideep. According to a report in Times of India, Aruneshwar Singhde, member of organising committee said: “We have also made arrangement for the bone testing of the players if anyone raises doubt against any player.”

There will also be biometric machines installed at the venues. FYI, Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique-identity number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to all the residents of India based on their biometric and demographic data.
