After scoring a stunning unbeaten 263 against Railways, Rajasthan ‘wonder boy ‘ Aditya Garhwal on Wednesday scored a magnificent 196 off 137 balls against Madhya Pradesh (MP) to anchor his team to another facile victory in the zonal leg of the Vinoo Mankad U-19 one day meet.
Garhwal has now played two brilliant back-to-back knocks in successive days at the University ground in Greater Noida whose straight boundaries are pretty long. Garhwal hit 19 fours and seven sixes as he scored an astounding 118 runs with 26 scoring shots on Wednesday as Rajasthan XI beat MP by 142 runs.
Batting first, Rajasthan XI scored 326 for five based Aditya’s 196 and Mahipal Singh’s 50. In reply, MP were all-out for 184 with Salman Khan scoring 84. Aditya also rolled his arm over to grab four for 26. With such tall scores in 50-over games, Aditya is certainly a candidate for selection in the India U-19 team in near future.
