Pakistan opener Ahmed Shehzad notched up his second Test hundred after he reached the three figure-mark against Australia in the first Test at Dubai on Saturday. Shehzad had a pale outing in the first innings dismissed by Peter Siddle for just three runs. But in the second innings the right-hander has looked comfortable. Shehzad got to his hundred with a boundary.
Shehzad made batting look easy on such a slow, turning wicket. He consistently hopped down the pitch fearlessly and read the length of the spinners well. He started off by attacking the spinners with lofted shots and mellowed down as the spinners corrected their line and fetched more turn.
After dominating in the first session Shehzad continued with a six in the first over post break off Steven O’Koffee. Shehzad’s first Test ton was against Sri Lanka at Sharjah where he scored 147.
