Anamul Haque the Bangladeshi opener reached his half century against the West Indies in the first One-day International (ODI) of the three match series at at St George’s, Grenada. His fifty came in 74 ball with four fours. Earlier West Captain Dwayne Bravo won the toss and asked Bangladesh to bat first.

This tour comprises three ODIs, one T20 Internationals and two Tests. Bangladesh have come into this tour without Shakib Al Hasan, who has been suspended due to disciplinary reasons. That leaves Mushfiqur Rahim with a lot to do. This is a new setup for Bangladesh as they have Chandrika Hathurasinghe coming in as a coach.
